Detailed Itinerary: Humantay Lake Tour – Full Day
4:15 AM – Pickup from your hotel in Cusco

Start the day early. Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel or meeting point in Cusco to begin the journey to the town of Mollepata, the starting point for the trek.
6:30 AM – Arrival in Mollepata

Brief stop in Mollepata to get ready before starting the trek. Here you can stretch and take a short break before continuing to the start of the route to Soraypampa.
8:00 AM – Start of the trek from the starting point

We begin the 1 km hike to the Soraypampa campsite, located at 3,900 meters above sea level. This first stretch is easy, ideal for acclimating to the altitude.
8:30 AM – Breakfast at the Soraypampa campsite

At Soraypampa, we enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge before continuing the ascent to Humantay Lake. The breakfast will help you prepare for the hike ahead.
9:00 AM – Start of the trek to Humantay Lake

We begin the ascent to Humantay Lake. This hike will take approximately one and a half hours, climbing up to 4,100 meters above sea level. The landscape becomes more stunning as we gain altitude.
10:30 AM – Arrival at Humantay Lake

Upon arriving at Humantay Lake, you’ll have time to enjoy the panoramic views. The lake, with its vibrant turquoise color, is surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to rest, take photos, and explore the area.
12:00 PM – Return to Soraypampa campsite

We begin the descent back to the Soraypampa campsite, where we can catch our breath after the hike.
1:00 PM – Lunch at the Soraypampa campsite

We enjoy a traditional lunch at the Soraypampa campsite, replenishing energy after the trek. This is a great time to relax and share experiences with fellow participants.
2:00 PM – Hike back to the vehicle

After finishing lunch, we begin the hike back to the starting point to catch the vehicle back to Cusco.
3:30 PM – Return to Cusco

We begin the journey back to Cusco by vehicle, enjoying the panoramic views of the mountainous landscape.
5:00 PM – Arrival at the historic center of Cusco

Finally, we arrive in Cusco, where the tour concludes. You can continue exploring the city or return to your hotel to rest after a day full of adventure.
